Gummy Smile and Dimpled Chin
Gummy Smile
A gummy smile occurs when the upper lip lifts excessively, revealing a large portion of the gum when you smile. While some gum exposure is typical, an excessive display can make you feel self-conscious about your smile.
This minimally invasive treatment involves injecting Botulinum toxin (Botox®) into the muscles responsible for elevating the upper lip. This relaxes these muscles, reducing the gum exposure and creating a more confident smile.
Dimpled Chin
A dimpled chin is visible as small indentations or dimples across the chin, affecting its smooth appearance as a result of excessive contraction of the Mentalis muscle. This can impact self-esteem and make you feel self-conscious.
To address a dimpled chin, Botulinum toxin (Botox®) is injected into the chin muscles. This treatment relaxes the Mentalis muscle, reducing the appearance of dimples and creating a smoother chin surface.
